[vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”10860″ img_size=”medium”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]Marcel van Eeden<\/strong> (1965) participates in the groupshow KRIJT<\/em> (CHALK<\/em> ) at Kunsthal KAdE in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. As the title suggests, the use of chalk as a drawing material is central to the exhibition\u2019s theme. In addition to existing works by artists such as Joseph Beuys, Rudolf Steiner and Juan Mu\u00f1oz, the exhibition features new works specifically made with chalksticks on blackboard at the request of Kunsthal KAdE.<\/p>\n Marcel van Eeden has drawn two cityscapes with white chalk on a blackboard surface, a negative version as it were of his regular drawings in neropencil on white Fabriano paper. Other participating artists are:\u00a0Marijn Akkermans,\u00a0Jitske Bakker,\u00a0Nik Christensen,\u00a0Hanneke Francken,\u00a0Lenneke van der Goot,\u00a0Susanna Inglada,\u00a0Arno Kramer, Bart Lodewijks,\u00a0Romy Muijrers,\u00a0Marc Nagtzaam, Mayke Nas, Nemanja Nikoli\u0107, Thomas Raat, Hans Schuttenbeld & Jilles de Man, Roland Sohier,\u00a0Guy Vording, Witte Wartena, Marjolijn de Wit, Marthe Zink.<\/p>\n In the specially designed CHALKroom and CHALKclassroom, visitors can actively experiment with chalk, for instance by drawing on the walls and furniture, or creating large chalk drawings with available instruments.<\/p>\n
