The theme of the Paper Biennale 2020 at Museum Rijswijk is Home. In our time of globalization and the ongoing refugee problem, the concept of home is more topical than ever. Home has to do with identity, safety and comfort, the participating artists express these concepts in different ways in their work. Susanna Inglada (1983) exhibits among others her work Intruders which shows that home can also be a place that is not harmonious and safe.

The other participating artists are: Quentley Barbara, Marieke de Jong, Anna van Bohemen, Lebohang Kganye, Ulli Böhmelmann, Marianne Lammersen, Ronny Delrue, Miriam Londoño, Darja Eßer, Toos Nijssen, Rosa Everts, Mardoe Painter, Pietsjanke Fokkema, Pim Palsgraaf, Gianfranco Gentile, Stéphanie Saadé, Lenneke van der Goot, Josephine Tabbert, Minna Tammi, Senol Tatli.
