Nour-Eddine Jarram (1956) has a solo exhibition entitled Tsunami of Images at platform for art and design Nieuw Charlois, Rotterdam. The exhibition is part of a series in which the refugee problem of our time is central. Since the outbreak of the migration crisis, Nour-Eddine Jarram has been making watercoloors of migrants and refugees that are often based on news photos. He approaches the subject from a strong personal empathy and commitment. Besides Jarram’s watercolours gues artists Robin Kolleman, Celine van den Boorn, Kamiel Verschuren, Driessens & van den Baar, Maria Ikonomopoulou and Olphaert den Otter each show one work.
