Diederik Gerlach and Jantien Jongsma participate in the exhibition Stories – Images (Verhaald \u2013 Verbeeld)<\/em> at Museum Belv\u00e9d\u00e8re. Eleven artists show work that departs from personal experiences and memories. Gerlach presents two large paintings from the series Das verlorene Herz (The Lost Heart), work on paper and a new series of acrylic paintings on panel. Jantien Jongsma’s shows work on paper from the series Back to the Future<\/em> in which she conceives daily life in her neighbourhood Slotervaart as a choreography of recurring actions.<\/p>\n Also exhibiting are Alexandrine (1903-1980), Barend Blankert (1941-2023), Frank Creton, Pieter Hermanides (1932-2019), Mirjam van Houten, Erik Mattijssen, Marcel Reijerman, Michael van Rijckevorsel and Hollie Witteveen.<\/p>\n
