Four years after her successful exhibition Nouveau Deco, Christie van der Haak returns to Museum Kampen with Metamorfose (Metamorphosis), a site-specific Gesamtkunstwerk. With her ever changing floral and geometric patterns, van der Haak transforms the dependance of Museum Kampen, the Former Synagogue into a mesmerising space, pulsating with colour. Her expressive, recognisable designs lend the building a sacredness of its own. The walls and arches are given a second skin of organic and geometric patterns, bathed in the light that filters through windows.<\/p>\n
