Nour-Eddine Jarram

watercolours, paintings

Nour-Eddine Jarram (1956) presents new watercolours and paintings featuring poignant images of refugees and migrants. He reveals the human drama behind an issue that is often exploited in international politics to fuel sentiments of fear and intolerance.

Concurrently, Nour-Eddine Jarram is holding an exhibition at the Chabot Museum titled *Mensen Zoals Wij* (People Like Us), in which his work is juxtaposed with paintings by Henk Chabot, who also depicted refugees and displaced persons during the 1930s and 1940s.
