35 years Galerie Maurits van de Laar

 

Galerie Maurits van de Laar celebrates its 35th anniversary with two exhibitions that give an overview of the gallery’s artists. In the gallery itself drawings and works on paper will primarily be shown, at the space of Quartair, located a short distance away on the Toussainkade, larger scale works will be exhibited. Amongst them Dirk Zoete’s installation Settlement, in which he puts spoon-like figures and wooden facades on a large table to create a miniature habitation.

The opening on Saturday, November 28, will be conducted by Stef van Bellingen, artistic director of art platform WARP in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium.

The exhibition at the gallery will already be open during HOOGTIJ #87 on Friday evening November 27.
