Martin Fenne and Fransje Killaars in CODA Museum
Martin Fenne and Fransje Killaars participate in the exhibition Craft Now! at CODA, Apeldoorn, NL. The exhibition explores how the boundaries between craft and art have increasingly blurred over the past few decades. Martin Fenne presents his work Sleepers #6, created using piping—satin strips that are sewn together one by one. Fransje Killaars shows two folding screens on which horizontal bands of textile are arranged like a colour sample card. The works are on loan from the AKZO Nobel Art Foundation collection, with which CODA Museum partners for this exhibition.
Also participating in Craft Now! are: Marlou Breuls, Koos Buster, Sigrid Calon, Chan Chiao Chun, Luna Cordaro, Koen Doodeman, Jonathan van Doornum, Afra Eisma, Arash Fakhim Esmaeilian, Ricardo van Eyk, Yamuna Forzani, Gijs Frieling, Emmy van de Grift, Bernard Heesen, Arno Hoogland, Éric van Hove, Patricia Kaersenhout, Anni Mertens, Femmy Otten, Wouter van Riessen, Klaas Rommelaere, Carmen Schabracq, Ulla-Stina Wikander.
