David Bade at Domkerk Utrecht

David Bade (1970) realized the exhibition (Beelden)Storm at the invitation of the Domchurch Utrecht. He translates the historical 16th century iconoclasm at the start of the reformation in the low countries to the present. He addresses the storm around the so called Bangalists, supporters’ riots, artificial intelligence and influencers. Typical for Bade’s working method in which he includes outsiders in his projects, he cooperated with students from the Utrecht student corps, supporters of FC Utrecht and students from the media and design course X11. In the nave of the cathedral, the cloister and the exterior, he placed partly monumental sculptures, installations and paintings that depict this contemporary storm.
