
Fransje Killaars at Centraal Museum and 37PK Haarlem
A textile work with tennis balls from 1992 by Fransje Killaars (1959) is on display in the new permanent collection exhibition at the Centraal Museum Utrecht. The work was originally acquired by former director Sjarel Ex, curator Ninke Bloemberg curated the new overview of the permanent collection.
Furthermore, Fransje Killaars’s work is on display at 37PK Haarlem, where Australian artist Irene Barberis has a residency at the guest studio DOC4. As part of the ongoing project The Concentric Influences of Soll Lewitt, works by Janet Passehl, John Hogan, Wilma Tobacco, Irene Barberis, and Fransje Killaars is on display. All of the artists have a connection to Soll Lewitt’s work.
