Elmar Trenkwalder’s (1959) monumental ceramic sculptures are displayed in the second part of the room. WVZ 250, part of the museum’s collection, is placed on the right and shows an assembly of light blue columns enclosing a central figure on a throne. WVZ 183 with its symmetrically placed fingers stands in the center, WVZ 360 with its organically twisting green stems and arches is placed on the left. This work was premiered at Museum Beelden aan Zee in 2022.
A catalogue has been published accompanying the exhibition with texts by Herta Pümpel and Benoît Blanchard.
