Fransje Killaars at ICOON

 

Fransje Killaars (1959) has a solo exhibition at ICOON, a museum housed in a former German WW II bunker at Hoek van Holland NL. The exhibition’s theme of life and death takes on added resonance due to the former bunker’s military function, which underscores the threat posed by present day wars. In the exhibition the installations Image of Power (2023) and Life and Death II (2026), are on display as well as Vera Icon and no title, both created in 2026.
