Fransje Killaars in ICOON

Fransje Killaars (1959) has a solo exhibition at ICOON, a museum housed in a former German bunker near Hoek van Holland NL. The exhibition’s theme of life and death takes on added resonance due to the former bunker’s military function, which underscores the threat posed by current wars. In the exhibition four installations by Killaars are on display: Image of Power (2023), Life and Death 2, Vera Icon and no title that were all created in 2026.
