Susanna Inglada in Love of Drawing at Stedelijk Museum Schiedam

 

Together with Fatima Barznge and Koen Taselaar, Susanna Inglada has been invited by the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam as curator for Love of Drawing. The exhibition gives an overview of the NOG collection, which was donated to the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam in 2021. The choice of the artists is related to their own work in terms of subject, content and mentality.

Susanna Inglada selected works by Nour-Eddine Jarram, Charlotte Schleiffert, Aline Thomassen, Dan Zhu, Erik van Lieshout, Caren van Herwaarden, Erik Mattijssen, Dineke Blom, Esther Jiskoot, Helen Frik and Claire Harvey. They are shown on walls painted in soft colours, green representing political, sociological issues, yellow focuses on intuition and phantasy, pink deals with the human body and man’s relation with nature. Susanna Inglada shows her installative collage drawing Y Ahora Que ? which was acquired for the NOG collection in 2020.

The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue in Dutch, with interviews with Fatima Barznge, Susanna Inglada, Koen Taselaar, a history of the NOG Collection and an overview of the works in the exhibtion.
