Christie van der Haak (1950) is showing new works crafted from glass at the National Glass Museum in Leerdam, as part of the exhibition Art Deco Glas – Belofte voor het Moderne (A Promise for the Modern). Christie van der Haak as well as designers Karim Adduchi and Studio VANTOT were invited to design and create glass objects inspired by the historical art deco glass works by a.o. Lucienne Bloch in the exhibition. In the glasworkshop of the National Glassmuseum, Christie van der Haak has produced several vases with the help of master glass-blower Gert Bullée. From the 23rd of June onwards, visitors can admire the results of these collaborations in the museum’s greenhouses.
