The Line Up – Centraal Museum Utrecht

This autumn, the Centraal Museum in Utrecht presents a major retrospective on drawing from 1950 to the present, titled The Line Up. The emphasis is on drawing as an act and the process of drawing, the development of thoughts.

The Line Up aspires to portray this diversity by exhibiting the works of 105 Dutch and international artists. The exhibition is conceived by Robbie Cornelissen and museumcurator Marja Bosma, including works by a.o. Robbie Cornelissen, Karin van Dam, Marcel van Eeden, Susanne Inglada, Henri Jacobs and Sebastiaan Schlicher. Visitors are offered the chance to leave their own mark in the space by creating a linedrawing that transverses the exhibition space, under guidance of Robbie Cornelissen, or follow guided tours by HKU students on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
